About Cassini I

Cassini I developed into one of the most important breeding stallions, particularly impressive for his outstanding jumping qualities. The big-framed grey was brought into the sport by then Verband rider, Bo Kristoffersen (DEN), competed at international youngster tour level with great success and won the Helsinki (FIN) Nations Cup under Kristoffersen with the Danish team at the age of nine. After his move to Franke Sloothaak’s (GER) stable, his results include winning the Grands Prix of Modena (ITA) and Arnheim (NED), and the Aachen and Modena Nations Cups. Cassino I offspring totally lived up to the hopes placed in their sire, as he had two offspring, Cumano and Berlin, competing at the 2006 Aachen WEG alone, where Cumano and Jos Lansink (BEL) took home the gold medal individually, while Berlin and Gerco Schröder (NED) won the team gold.
