Sire

Casall is one of the most influential sires in international show jumping breeding. Hardly any other Holsteiner stallion has left such a lasting mark on both the sport of show jumping and modern breeding over so many years. Even at the age of 27, he consistently ranks among the top 15 most successful show jumping sires worldwide in the international WBFSH Sire Ranking.

Together with Rolf-Göran Bengtsson, Casall was among the world’s elite in show jumping for many years. The pair reached the finals of the top 25 pairs at the 2012 Olympic Games in London, the 2013 European Championships in Herning, and the 2014 World Championships in Caen. At the European Championships, Casall won the bronze medal with the Swedish team and also placed fourth in the individual standings.

Casall cemented his legendary reputation above all on the Global Champions Tour. In 2016, at the age of 17, he won the legs in Valkenswaard, Paris, and Doha, thereby securing the overall title in the world’s most prestigious show jumping series. A year later, at the age of 18, he retired from international competition in good health and at the peak of his career.

Mare Family

On the dam’s side as well, Casentos impresses with an exceptionally high-performing Holsteiner family. Line 776 has been one of the proven, successful lines in Holsteiner breeding for decades and consistently produces internationally successful sport horses as well as licensed stallions.

His dam, Gunna, is a full sister to the licensed stallion Cardentos, who enjoyed international success at the 1.50-meter level under Richard Vogel. His granddam, Conny I, produced not only Cardentos but also Cajero by Casall — who was successful at the 1.50-meter level under René Dittmer — another internationally successful show jumping stallion.

A sister of Conny I, Tora by Cash and Carry, is the great-granddam of the licensed stallion Corniolo by Cornet Obolensky. Furthermore, this line produced two additional internationally successful show jumpers—the Quo Vados sons Quno and Querry — who achieved success up to 1.55 meters.

The third dam, Nanny by Concerto II, further underscores the exceptional depth of performance in this family. She is the dam of Cash Up and Clipmyhorse Cash and Go, both of whom were successful internationally up to 1.60 meters. The fourth dam, Fanny, had already demonstrated her breeding quality with Cardea by Caretino, who was also successful on the international stage. Across several generations, this family has distinguished itself through exceptional genetic strength, a strong competitive spirit, and consistent success in sport at the highest level.
