About Vigado's Level

Vigado's Level was certainly one of the most striking stallions at the 2025 grading of the Holsteiner colts. Big-framed and with modern make and shape, the bay made quite an impression right from the very first moment as he combined athletic elegance with impressive willingness to perform. The outstanding quality of his movement was emphasized in particular by his elastic and up-hill trot and his long-striding, powerful canter. Vigado’s Level excelled in free jumping, demonstrating seemingly boundless ability, excellent technique and remarkable judgement - qualities predicting a promising future as a top level jumper.

Considerations for breeding

Vigado's Level is a modern young stallion influenced by TB blood and should be well suited to significantly improve smaller mares with tight backs in these qualities, as well as the general quality of their basic gaits.

Pedigree of Vigado's Level

Sire

His sire Vigado, also owned by the Holsteiner Verband stallion keeping GmbH, left the Neumünster Holstenhall in 2020 as celebrated champion stallion. This son of world champion Vigo d’Arsouilles embodies modern international jumping horse breeding at the highest level. Under the saddle of Lucas Wenz, Vigado already boasts numerous results, including wins and placings at national and international youngster tour level. The Holsteiner Verband entertains high hopes for this now eight-year-old up-and-coming athlete who holds particular promise in terms of sport and stud.

Damline

On the dam’s side, Vigado’s Level comes from the proven Holsteiner mare family 95, which has been enjoying a reputation for performance attitude, ability, and international success for decades. His dam, Denver by Cassiano, is a half-sister to Iron Dames High Level by Livello, an internationally successful chestnut mare attracting attention with numerous wins and placings up to 1.55m level with Janne-Friederike Meyer-Zimmermann    .
The third dam, Gina by Carthago, provides additional genetic quality. A full sister to former Verband stallion Claudio, she impressively underlines the high stud value of this damline. Vigado's Level thus combines modern conformation, above-average movement and outstanding jumping ability with a high-achieving Holsteiner performance dam line – the best prerequisites for a successful career as a sport and breeding stallion.
