He became the undisputed and celebrated national champion of the five-year-old jumping horses with Sophie Hinners and left a lasting impression on crowd and competitors alike on the Warendorf Burandt meadows: Arezzo Man, this season available by fresh semen through the Holsteiner Verband stallion keeping GmbH, thanks to a co-operation with Thomas Casper and Birkhof stud.
This exceedingly typey and rideable stallion is expected to pass on these qualities to his offspring with great reliability; the undisputed National Champion should be well able to produce offspring of his calibre.

Sire
Arezzo Man is by KWPN top sire Arezzo VDL. Following a successful competition career at international grand prix level with Jessica Kürten (GBR) and Jur Vrieling (NED), he has made a name for himself as an excellent sire, with numerous licensed sons and many show jumping offspring competing at the highest level.
The sire of Arezzo VDL, Chin Chin, is a representative of prestigious stem 4539, a successful mare family painstakingly bred by the Köhncke family of Badendorf which also includes Verband stallion Zuccero HV by Zirocco Blue. Chin Chin himself was a highly successful sport horse competing at two Olympics and in World Cup finals. Globally, the Constant-Farnese son boasts about 50 licensed sons. He sired top level sport horses, including Qerly Chin, who left an impressive legacy with her produce, in particular in Belgium. The sire of Arezzo VDL’s dam, Heartbreaker, completes this performance bloodline carrying internationally successful sport horses as dam sires in the tail female line over five generations.
Damline
Arezzo Man’s dam is by Holsteiner stallion Last Man Standing and used to be a successful jumper up to 1.35m level herself. The produce of Arezzo Man‘s second dam, Atlantis, includes three licensed sons, one of them 1.60m level jumper, Royal Beach Farao by Golden Miller. Last Man Standing‘s offspring includes the OS champion stallions Le Champ Ask and Last Man’s Hope. The sire of Last Man Standing, Lovari, is out of a full sister to Cassini I and II, and has two crosses each to larger-than-life stallions, Capitol I and Landgraf I.
Personal contribution of
Arezzo Man underwent 50-day stallion performance testing at Neustadt upon Dosse in October 2022 with a jumping weighted final mark of 8.28. His great personality and willingness to perform stood out in particular and were graded 9.0 each. Already then, his rideability, technique, ability, and overall impression proved convincing all across the board as they were graded 8.5, each.
Arezzo Man was initially carefully produced at the Casper family’s Birkhof stud and competed victoriously in young horse jumping classes, before Lisa Zoller piloted him to win the title of State Champion of the four-year-old jumping horses. He caught the eye of Richard Vogel and Sophie Hinners who bought him and speedily qualified him for the 2024 national championship which was only the second horse show the imposing grey, who performed brilliantly over the entire duration of the championship week, had entered with Sophie Hinners. Both rounds of the final test, a jumping horse class at M* level, were clearly rated “very good” and graded 9.5, each. A shining National Champion of exceptional quality.
