The premium commission continued its tour at the weekend and assessed foals born in 2024 in the breeding district Segeberg. The two winning foals have qualified for the State Foal Championships in Elmshorn on 25 August: a colt by Chavaros II-Lasino (breeder: Ernst Eggers, Struvenhütten ) and a filly daughter by Quel Mexx-Castelan I (breeder: Margret Isenberg, Travenhorst).
The colt's family by Chavaros II includes sport horses such as Coriana Carthago by Coriano, with whom Martin Fuchs (SUI), among others, competed in 1.60 metre show jumping competitions. Cantoblanco by Canto, for example, who was proclaimed Holsteiner Champion Stallion in 2008, comes from the direct dam line of the winning filly by Quel Mexx. Or the licensed 1.60 metre jumper Clinton I by Carolus I.
