The first foal inspection and registration event of the year in Schleswig-Holstein took place in the breeding district Ostholstein. In the championships, a son of Casall stood at the top of the colt class and a Chacfly PS daughter at the top of the filly class.
The first-placed colt by Casall out of Naila by Million Dollar was bred by Volker Redderberg (Ahrensbök) and represents the 1907 line. His direct dam line produced successful horses in advanced (S) level courses such as Historia by Crunch (Hannes Ahlmann). Crunch (Hannes Ahlmann/GER), the 1.60 metre jumper Rosalia la Silla by Cassini I (Sheikh Khalifa al Thani/QAT) and also licensed stallions such as Cunningham by Cassini I.
Among the fillies, a daughter of Chacfly PS out of Iffari by Caretino (Jendrik Oldekop, Schönwalde), line 18B1, led the lot. The dam is a half-sister to the licensed Cape Calidus by Casall. And her granddam is the dam of Aperol by Aloube Z, who was successful over 1.60 metres with Lars Nieberg, as well as many other sport horses.
