The change from the service provider Landeskontrollverband Schleswig-Holstein, Kiel, to vit, Verden, has resulted in changes and innovations.

For the first time, foal reports for registered coverings and covering certificates for actively registered broodmares were sent with the 2024 annual fee invoices. Members of the Holsteiner Verband can view these documents after successful registration in Holsteiner Online (www.holsteiner-verband.de / member area) and print and use them if required.

Due to the extensive changes, it has not yet been possible to enter all the necessary information on the breeding horses into the new system. We are currently working on entering this information.

This concerns, among other things, the 2023 recognition status of stallions at the Holsteiner Verband, which is not yet fully recorded in the vit data. As a result, the note 'Stallion not recognised in breeding year' (Hengst im Deckjahr nicht anerkannt) appears on some foaling reports 2024.

This note has no effect on the registration of foals with the Holsteiner Verband in 2024, provided the stallions were already recognised as Stallion Book I or Holstein Global stallions in 2023.
