You can now register your four to eight-year-old well-ridden horses and three-year-old rough diamonds for pre-selection for the Holsteiner Spring Auction.
The spring auction will take place on March 23, 2024 in Elmshorn as a hybrid auction. A number of Holsteiner success stories have already begun here, which have found themselves on the front pages of equestrian sport magazines, on television or on the World Wide Web a few years later: For example that of Dacara E - Derby winner under Cassandra Orschel. For the rider, a dream came true at the German Show Jumping Derby in Hamburg in May 2022 that she "never expected". The Amazon became the fifth woman ever to win the 91st Derby. Her sport partner was Dacara E by Cancara-Caretino, bred by Gerd Eggers from Stadum. Cassandra Orschel discovered the chestnut mare at the Holsteiner spring auction in 2016. Since then, she has carefully trained the chestnut mare. They secured the title of State Champion Mare the following year and became State Champion Ladies in Bad Segeberg in 2020. The Hamburg-based rider and mare, who competes for Poland, are not actually derby specialists, but rather highly successful nationally and internationally in jumping competitions up to 1.60 meters. They even competed for Poland at the European Championships in Milan (ITA) last year.
So register your Holsteiner youngster hopes by January 10, 2024 for the pre-selection of the spring auction. The selection of horses will take place in January at various locations in the extended breeding area, as well as at three locations in Schleswig-Holstein.
