Holsteiner Results: Start of the Year in Opglabbeek and Wellington

Hans-Dieter Dreher (GER) was recently very successful with his Cachas son Cous Cous in the World Cup show jumping competition in Mechelen (BEL). Now the second gray Holsteiner from his stable also delivered: Elysium by Zirocco Blue-Coronado (Manfred Tummes, Mühlheim), dam line 4539, finished second in a 1.45 meter course in Opglabbeek (NED).

Cormint-Acodetto I son Cordico (Susanne Labuj, Kollmar), dam line 317A, also came second at this tournament over 1.45 meters. In the saddle was Alexis Goulet (FRA), with whom the bay horse competes in jumps up to 1.55 meters.

Comthago VDL v. Comme il faut-Carthago (Wilhelm Kochs, Eschweiler), dam line 3697, and Marlon Zanotelli (BRA) took bronze in a 1.45 meter course. The stallion, born in 2014, entered international sport via Alex Gill (GBR) and Jur Vrieling (NED) in the Youngster Tour.

Tomas Yofre from Argentina is the rider of Cher Cheval. The gelding v. Casalito-Cristo was bred by Fabian Leschke (Tönning), dam line 317A. Once at home in Betram and Harry Allen's stable, Yofre now placed him in 1.45m events - in Welltington (USA) the pair finished one as winners.

At this tournament, the daughter of Canstakko from a Casall dam named Julieta (Ahsbahs GbR, Bokel), dam line 1859, ranked fifth in a 1.45 meter competition with prize money of 50,000 US dollars. She was ridden by Delaney Flynn from the USA.
