The preparations for the CSI3* hosted at Hof Waterkant in Pinneberg by Janne Friederike Meyer-Zimmermann and her husband Christoph have been in full swing for weeks now. It’s almost time now and international top riders have entered for the event held this weekend on 1-4 July. The Holsteiner Verband head of auction, Roland Metz, and his team also look forward to the days in Pinneberg seeing that they have put together an excellent lot comprising twelve foals to be put to auction on the evening of Saturday, 3 July, starting at 9:45pm.
Prior to that, the young stars of tomorrow are to be presented in the tasteful atmosphere of the show ground with the first live presentation of the foals on offer scheduled for Friday, 2 July, in the early afternoon at 1:45pm. And the lot is definitely impressive: For example hip no 1, Ozeana Tobago Blue by Chacco-Blue-Mr. Blue, and hip no 4, Blue Wave by Baloucan-Acobat II, command attention for their famous half siblings. Ozeana Tobago Blue is no less than a half-sister to Daniel Deußer’s Scuderia 1918 Tobago Z. Blue Wave comes from an equally successful sport performance damline, with the colt being a half-brother to fischerWildWave, one of the championship contenders in the stable of Michael Jung. From Don VHP to Tangelo van de Zuuhthoeve, Diamant de Semilly to Chilli Willi, there is interesting blood involved and all this secured on the basis of proven Holsteiner mare families. Interesting are also the three offspring by young stallion Chinchero, the 2019 Holsteiner reserve champion stallion host Janne Friederike Meyer-Zimmermann has high hopes for as a future sport partner.
