The Holsteiner Verband’s spring auction, taking place on 17 April at the Verband’s facilities in Elmshorn, once again offers an interesting selection of young horses for sport and breeding. Young talents for show jumping will be auctioned off in the Fritz-Thiedemann-Halle. The auction lot comprises a total of just under 30 horses.
Among them are three-year-old prospects, who will be presented in free jumping. These young horses are still at the beginning of their training, but already show promising potential in terms of ability, technique, pedigree and attitude. The lot is rounded off by horses aged between four and six years, who are already being presented under saddle. Some of them have also achieved their first competition successes and have already demonstrated their quality in competitive action. The collection thus offers interesting prospects both for riders wishing to further train young horses and for buyers seeking talented young horses with initial experience in competitive sport.
In the footsteps of Dacara E
Already ready for show jumping and also highly promising for hunter sport is catalogue number 111, a Dinken-Cancara son named Dincan. The dam of this four-year-old has already made history at the Holsteiner Spring Auction and in the sport: she produced none other than the winner of the German Show Jumping Derby in Hamburg, Dacara E by Cancara. Her rider, Cassandra Orschel, had once purchased her at the Holsteiner Auction.
With this diverse collection, the Holsteiner Verband is continuing its tried-and-tested auction philosophy: to offer high-quality, carefully selected young horses that hold promising prospects for both top-level national and international show jumping. The spring auction in Elmshorn thus once again offers an attractive platform for breeders, riders and investors from Germany and abroad.
