Eleven Foals in Hamburg: Holsteiner Auction Sale at the Derby Park

From 26 to 29 August, the Hamburg Derby Park hosts the Global Champions Tour, one of the top and most prestigious equestrian sport series in the world. The schedule of the 5-star-horse show also includes a Holsteiner auction sale with eleven foals to be offered on Saturday, 28 August.

Roland Metz, executive director of the Holsteiner Verband marketing and auction GmbH, has picked eleven choice foals to be put to auction at the venerable Klein Flottbeck lawn. Their pedigrees read like a who’s who of modern show jumping. From Casall, Clarimo, Diarado and Vingino to younger sires like for example Treasure, Cornetaro, Keaton, Chubakko, Chezarro and Corfu de la Vie there is something to suit everyone’s taste. And also the jumping foals’ direct dam lines have produced numerous international sport horses, like for example Coupe de Couer, Livello, Pikeur Dylon, Chaka Chaka or else Calle Cool, generally known for having left the Derby showground victorious twice with Nisse Lüneburg. Take for example hip no 7, Caluna by Casall-Corrado I: not only has her dam already produced several jumping horses successful to 1.40m level, but her second dam’s produce includes Pikeur Dylon, the highly successful international jumper shown by Markus Brinkmann (GER). The produce of the direct dam line of hip no 4, For Me KNT by For Treasure-Casall, includes for example Chijioke, placed to 1.50m level under Chantal Huwiler (CHE) or Chaka Chaka (Janne Friederike Meyer-Zimmermann, GER).

You are looking for a future winner, as well? Then don’t miss out on the auction sale held in the afternoon on Saturday, 28 August, as a matter of course in a hybrid format! The foals are first presented on the Saturday at 1:35pm, with the auction sale starting at 4:30pm, directly after the Global Champions Tour 5* jumping class. Until then, feel free to contact Roland Metz (+49 171 4364 651) for all questions concerning the auction sale and the foals on offer.
