Next Saturday, on 8 July at 5.30pm, 14 hand-picked Holsteiner foals and one talented riding horse are auctioned at the highly anticipated hybrid sale as part of the Springflut Festival in Hörup.
All foals have been carefully selected by executive director Felix Flinzer together with the initiators. They are by Cornet Obolensky and his sons, Crack and Cahil, by Diamant de Semilly and his grandsons, Duplexx and Dinken, as well as by Uriko, Vatson Sitte, Chavaros II, while Chezarro represents the Casall blood. And anyone looking for “international” blood is well advised to have a closer look at the foals by Carambole, Million Dollar or else Comme il Faut. However, all the foals have one quality in common, as all of them are from high-class damlines. The dam to lot 101, Rubin HaS by Cornet Obolensky, is a full sister to Million Dollar (Sophie Hinners/GER). Or for example lot 102, Roxana by Crack-Casall, from famous mare family 18A2. She comes from the direct damline of Pikeur Dylon (Markus Brinkmann/GER), Caillan (Rolf-Göran Bengtsson/SWE) and Calle Cool (Nisse Lüneburg/GER). No less interesting is lot 107: This Diamant de Semilly-Ladas son from mare family 504 has close family ties to countless 1.60m level jumping horses, like for example Cooper van de Heffinck (Oliver Philippaerts/BEL), Cayenne van de Heffinck (Lind Heed/SWE), Cormina (Björn Nagel/GER), Quaprice Bois Margot (Julien Epaillard/FRA) and many more.
Anyone looking for a likable sport partner to get started with into the ongoing showing season, should have a closer look at five-year-old Million Dollar daughter, Mien Seute. She also boasts impressive family ties, as her damline from mare family 275 has produced among others Dirk Hafemeister’s Olympic mare Orchidee and the licensed 1.60m level stallion Concept (Torben Köhlbrandt/GER, Marcel Ewen/LUX). Mien Seute is presented to the public on 7 July at 3:45pm, whereas the foals are presented on 8 July at 1:00pm, before the auction kicks off at 5:30pm.
