On Saturday, 9 July, 7:30pm twelve choice Holsteiner foals, seven talented riding horses and an international calibre embryo will be up for sale at the hybrid auction held against the background of the the Hörup Springflutfestival. The bloodline of the embryo put up for auction sale – a premiere for Schleswig-Holstein – commands attention, with the sire Cornet Obolensky in demand all across the world and the dam no other than the full sister to Holsteiner Verband stallion Million Dollar (by Plot Blue), a stallion currently attracting loads of attention under the saddle of Sophie Hinners. Apropos Million Dollar: he is also the sire of two lots in the small but select riding horse collection. The others, most of them four-year-olds, are by Diamant de Semilly and his son, Diarado, Comme il Faut, Clarksville, and Baloubet du Rouet.
The foal collection has been hand-picked by Roland together with the Hörup initiators. Clarimo is represented by two offspring, Dominator Z, Jaloubet VDL – since this year shown by Janne-Friederike Meyer-Zimmermann, Eldorado v/d Zeshoek, Diamant de Semilly, Crack, Cardentos, United Way, Diablue PS and once-in-a-century-sire Caretino, are represented by one foal, each.
The entire collection will be presented live to the Hörup audience on Friday evening, at about 8.00pm. Those unable to attend may watch the broadcast on ClipMyHorse.TV. Following the presentation and on Saturday, the riding horses can of course be tried out under saddle.
