This year, the Holstein Young Stallion Licensing will take place together with the Elite Riding Horse Auction on 11 and 12 December in Elmshorn. And ticket sales for this Holstein annual highlight have begun!
The stallion candidates will arrive at the Elmshorn association grounds on Wednesday, 10 December 2025, to familiarise themselves with the Fritz-Thiedemann-Halle. In the evening, the elite riding horses will be presented – live and via livestream. The official part of the licensing will then begin on Thursday, 11 December: The event will kick off with the traditional paving stone inspection, followed by the first free jumping and the riding horse auction. Holstein welcomes everyone to the party afterwards.
Free jumping Friday with stallion auction
On Friday, 12 December, the second free jumping session will once again provide an informative insight. At noon, the licensing decisions will be eagerly awaited, and afterwards, the Holstein Champion Stallion of 2025 will be celebrated by the audience. The auction of licensed and unlicensed stallions concludes the official part of the event, before the celebrations continue at the After Auction Party.
