The young stallion licensing is the biggest event in the breeding year. This year, the Holstein young stallion licensing will take place together with the Elite Riding Horse Auction on 11 and 12 December in Elmshorn.
However, before the candidates can apply for the licensing title, they must first be approved in the preliminary selection for licensing. The preliminary selection will take place from 27 to 30 October 2025 at the Elmshorn association facility.
You can register your young stallions for the preliminary selection until 19 September 2025.
Please note: Young stallions born after 10 June 2023 are not eligible to participate in the preliminary selection due to animal welfare regulations.
