At the World Championships for Young Show Jumpers in Lanaken, Belgium, two horses from Holstein secured podium places in the prestigious ‘Sires of the World’ competition. This event brings together licensed stallions competing at an international level. The 1.50-metre class provides a special showcase for these sires. By winning silver and bronze, two Holstein stallions made their mark in this top-class field.
The silver medal went to Money Time by Million Dollar-Clearway (ZG Stegemann, Elpersbüttel, line 238). The stallion was ridden by Mykola Pylypeiko (UKR). Crack HV by Cornet Obolensky-Candillo (Campos Cria de Caballos, ESP-Pepino), line 1020, took the bronze. In the saddle: Egor Shchibrik (PLE).
At the same time, a Longines League of Nations Cup took place at the CSIO5* in St Tropez (FRA). In the 1.60-metre Nations Cup, the Brazilians secured second place. With two clear rounds, João Victor Castro Aguiar Gomes de Lima and Cashpaid J&F by Casall-Chicgao Z (Hans-Hermann Gempf, Stelle), line 325, made a decisive contribution to the success.
