The results of the show jumping events at the German Youth Championships in Zeiskam have been announced. Championship titles were awarded in the Children’s, Pony Riders’, Juniors’ and Young Riders’ age groups. Several riders on Holsteiner horses also had reason to celebrate winning medals.
Mathies Rüder was particularly successful: after winning European Championship gold in eventing, the rider from the Baltic Sea island of Fehmarn has now also demonstrated his class in show jumping, securing the German championship title. Riding his successful Holsteiner mare Carlesta by Casall-Corrado (Joachim Jürgens, Bollbrügge), line 42B, Rüder remained composed and faultless throughout the championship. With fast clear rounds, the pair took the lead and won the championship title
. In the junior category, two medals also went to riders on horses bred in Holstein. Brianne Beerbaum secured silver with Zenzero by Zuccero HV-Acord II (Harm Thormählen, Kollmar), line 3615. Bronze went to Annabell Plock and Joana by Casall-Larimar (ZG Bröckimg, Borken), line 1446.
There was another bronze medal for a Holsteiner horse in the Children’s class: Angelina Zweig took third place with her Holsteiner mare Lillit by Lordanos-Corrado I (Tobias Klein, Borken), line 776.
