Have you already thought about registering your Holsteiner foals this year? If possible, you should do so by the end of May.
Foal registrations must be received by the Holsteiner Verband's Breeding Department (Steenbeker Weg 151, 24106 Kiel) by 30 May 2025 in order to appear in the 2025 foal catalogue. Due to the printing deadline, entries received after this date can no longer be included in the main catalogue; they will appear in the supplement.
You can report the birth of your foal with the foaling report by post, by e-mail (wessel@holsteiner-verband.de) or via the online foal report.
As a member of the association, you can register here for the member area (Holsteiner Online). “My horses” lists among others the mares which have been reported serviced in 2024 (covered mares). With the stallion services recorded, the birth of the foal and the necessary details can be reported online using the button “register a birth”. Please do also report if no foal was born or if the mare was barren.
