71 five-year-olds competed on Wednesday afternoon in the first qualifier, an M* show jumping class. A horse with a Holsteiner pedigree led the way in the prize-giving ceremony for the second group. Namely, Cadoc by Casall-Diamant de Semilly (Klaus-Jürgen Pöhlmann), who was ridden to a score of 8.8 by the newly crowned team world champion Sophie Hinners. The following Holsteiners also secured places in the rankings.

· Sandro T by Sandro Junior–Zirocco Blue (Richard Theurer) and Arne van Heel in eighth place (8.2)
· Cornet’s Heartbreaker L by Cornet Obolensky–Lord Z (Patrik Lewin) and Hendrik Dowe in eighth place (8.2)
2nd Division
· Chacfire by Chacfly out of Levisto (Jörg Carstensen) and Tjade Carstensen in third place (8.5)
· Excalibur by Eldorado v/d Zeshoek-Cormint (Anette Beckmann) and Manuel Prause in fifth place (8.4)
· Kensington’s Brownie by Kensington ES-Cormint (Dieter Pingel) and Philipp Hartmann in fifth place (8.4)
· Diasini by Diaron out of Cassini I (meliar Solutions Swiss GmbH) and George Catalin Bors in seventh place (8.3)
· Keystone by Keaton I out of Quinar (Margit Petersen) and Tjade Carstensen in tenth place (8.1)
· Norbert T by Numero Uno-Clarimo (Walter Teufel) and Thomas Teufel in tenth place (8.1)
On Wednesday morning, 117 six-year-old show jumpers also took to the arena for their first qualifier, an M* class show jumping competition. In the three divisions, the following Holsteiners each secured a place amongst the top ten. Specifically, these were:

· Crime ist Blue by Crime is Colin out of Chacco-Blue (Sascha Piotrowski) and Katharina von Essen in fifth place (8.5)
· Check my Skills by Checkter out of Corrado I (ZG Kotschofsky) and Patrick Bölle in fifth place (8.5)
· Million’s Malaika by Million Dollar out of Casall (ZG Eggers/Polte) and Pia-Luise Bauer in ninth place (8.3)
2nd Division
· Unico Tu by United Way-Contendro I (Peter Wernke) and Tobias Thoenes in fifth place (8.5)
· Moh by Million Dollar-Cascavelle (Dirk Schröder) and Frank Wagner in eighth place (8.4)
