The young Verband stallions Chezarro and United Way need to take a break from stud services for about three weeks. While Chezarro has had a bone fragment in the pastern joint prone to cause trouble at times surgically removed, his stable mate United Way has bruised his coffin bone with his exuberant bucking during training. “Upon recommendation of our vets, both of them will be freed from stud service, as any uncontrolled movement might well prolong the healing process“, executive director Norbert Boley explains the decision to have the two stallions available through frozen semen only for about three weeks.
