
Lucas Wenz competed successfully with several Holsteiner Verband stallions at the Peelbergen Equestrian Sports Centre in the Netherlands last weekend:
Cahil by Cornet Obolensky-Contender (Manfred von Allwörden, Grönwohld), Stamm 776, remained clear in three of three rounds and secured a placing in the Youngster Tour for eight-year-olds. He finished sixth, fifth and fifth over 1.35 metres.
Corfu de la Vie by Cumano-Lord (Haras de la Vie/BEL), Stamm 741, also placed: He jumped to eleventh place in a difficult jumping competition (1.40 metres).
The first international ribbons were awarded to two five-year-old Verband stallions: Deichkind by Don VHP-Limbus (Rasmus Lüneburg, Hetlingen), Stamm 8763, remained faultless in his three starts, placing twelfth and fifth. And Union City by United Way-Connor (Alf Bartholomäus, Klein Offenseth), Stamm 18A2, also shone in his first show start: three faultless performances and a twelfth-place finish.
