The Holsteiner Verband is pleased to announce that Stud Farm Borrby Nr1 has been appointed as the new official agent for Holsteiner breeding in Sweden, effective from January 1, 2026.
With this appointment, Swedish breeding stations and breeders will continue to have direct access to one of the world’s most successful and internationally recognized studbooks in modern sport horse breeding.
Borrby Nr1, located in Österlen in southern Sweden, operates an established sport horse breeding business with a strong focus on quality, performance and long-term sustainability. The stud works closely with breeders and horse owners with the goal of producing top-level international sport horses.
The Holsteiner Verband looks forward to a strong and long-term cooperation with Borrby Nr1 and is confident that the partnership will further strengthen Holsteiner breeding in the Swedish market.
